Shipping

Every order ships free within the U.S. Pieces are wrapped by hand in Greenpoint, Brooklyn — usually within 2–3 days of your order — and arrive within 3–7 business days. You'll get a receipt by email when you order, and each piece is packed generously, because pottery deserves bubble wrap and so do you. (Henry, our Head of Shipping, personally supervises every box.)

If something arrives broken

Heartbreaking, but it happens. Email a photo of the damage to sarah@spindlelaneceramics.com within 7 days of delivery and we'll refund you in full or remake the piece — your choice. No need to ship broken pottery back.

Returns

If a piece isn't right in your space, you can return it within 14 days of delivery in its original condition for a refund of the purchase price. Just email us first so we know it's coming — return shipping is on you, and we'd recommend generous padding (see above, re: pottery).

One-of-a-kind means one

Nearly everything in the shop is a single piece — once it sells, it's gone. If you miss one, the Customize page is how you ask Sarah to make something in its spirit. No two will ever be identical, and that's the point.

Custom pieces

Commissioned and customized pieces are made just for you, so they're final sale — but if one arrives broken, the broken-pottery promise above applies all the same.
